OH you have to try this dressing. it is to die for.
GINGER HONEY MUSTARD SALAD DRESSING
3 T honey
3 T lime juice
2 T olive oil
2 teaspoons dijon
fresh basil and mint
1/2 teaspoon of ginger (i used a chunk of fresh ginger. love that stuff)
salt and pepper
good, right? so light and sweet and hardly any oil in it. YIPPEE.
i also made another recipe from this article and it was amazing:
HONEY CARROT SOUP
throw some carrots and onion in a dutch oven with some coconut oil or olive oil. or both! get them going, then add a little miso paste or better than bouillon or veggie broth. whatever you like. i added miso and better than bouillon. then add 2 cups water if you don’t do the broth.
cover and simmer 15 minutes, or until the carrots are soft. blend (carefully) and return soup to the pan, adding half and half, or milk. i added almond milk, but when i’m off this cleanse, i definitely think half and half is the way to go. it’s only a little.
add 1/4 cup honey and some fresh ground nutmeg. and salt.
this was really nice. i had a half of a red pepper, so i made a little garnish with red pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. but i can’t imagine how amazing this would be with a little garnish of crispy prosciutto!
