cool new happy hour, y’all! the JULEP COCKTAIL CLUB, located on 41st and pennsylvania, in westport. (it’s in the same building as port fonda, but you have to walk around the side of the building to find the door)
well, it’s actually been around for nine months, but i’m a little slow. this was a cozy, comfy, classy happy hour, chock full of artisanal cocktails laced with old school whiskies and avant garde additions, like apple sauce! in a cocktail! love it!
and there were some hot drinks on the menu, too, which i think should always be on a menu.
here are some cocktails you can find on this fun menu…
THE FIG TECHNIQUE Fig-infused JTS Brown Bourbon, honey, cinnamon, lemon, hot water
HARVEST MOON Gosling’s Black Seal Rum, local apple butter, honey, cinnamon, lemon
NELLY BLY Jalapeño infused Wodka Vodka, Dolin Genepy de Alpes, falernum, mint, pineapple, lime, Angostura Aromatic Bitters
CRAZY stuff i can’t even pronounce!! i had the harvest moon ~ it wasn’t too sweet at all, which is usually what i don’t like about those crazy combo drinks. but this was really light and well-balanced.
and the munchies were considerate of gluten-sensitive figure watchers, and weren’t super heavy. they had items like deviled eggs, pickled veggies, and peel and eat shrimp. tasty!

- 1/2 OFF GLASSES/BOTTLES OF WINE
- 1/2 OFF BOULEVARD BEER
