my mouth is watering.
there is nothing more satisfying than a caprese salad with fresh basil leaves nestled between fresh ripe tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella. mmmmm….
i added just a sprinkling of kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper. but i also love a balsamic drizzle.
i’m hosting a summer party and recital tonight for my voice studio. i am so fortunate to have 25 women in my life, who are incredible singers, incredible women, and all WINE DRINKERS. so, we’re having a WINE, WOMEN AND SONG night!
NONE of this food has gluten or grains. everything is based on fresh, ripe fruits and delicious vegetables. i genuinely believe that party food can still be good for you! and here’s proof…

SPICY ANTIPASTI SALAD WITH MARINATED MUSHROOMS, SALAMI, ARTICHOKE HEARTS, PEPPERS AND CELERY
GREEN CASTELVETRANO OLIVES AND KALAMATA OLIVES
TUSCAN CANTALOUPE WRAPPED WITH PROSCIUTTO
AND A SCRUMPTIOUS CHEESE PLATE WITH BLUE CHEESE ACCOMPANIED BY LAVENDER HONEY, WHITE CHEDDAR CHEESE, GOAT CHEESE COVERED IN FRESH HERBS AND ALMONDS, BELLAVITA CHEESE (A MILD PARMESAN THAT IS SO NUTTY AND DELICIOUS), AND OF COURSE, PLUMP GRAPES.
