chia pudding with berries.

(i think i’ve already posted about chia pudding, but here we go again.  i just needed a reminder.  i also needed to try it with my new homemade almond milk…)

this is a lovely way to start the day.  i’ve had so much energy after this breakfast!

this chia pudding is made with homemade almond milk, which i think is a serious game-changer.

here’s the recipe i used for homemade almond milk.  it’s all over the inter-webs ~ nothing new.  i’m just telling you the one i like the most.

and here’s the recipe for chia pudding.  also not a new idea.  i’m just telling you what worked well for me, and hopefully it’ll inspire you to try it.

CHIA PUDDING

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 chia seeds
  • one teaspoon vanilla

put it all together in a mason jar and shake, shake, shake señora.

stick it in the fridge at night and it’ll be ready in the morning.  just give it a good shake again in the morning, and it’s ready!

this might be a good time to add some yummy flavors ~ cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa powder, honey, maple syrup…

then top with the fruit of your dreams!  or raisins!  oooooh….

i didn’t think i’d like this so much.  it’s really satisfying.  i’m not a pudding person at all, but this really has something.

try it.  you’ll love it, and you’ll love how you feel all day!
